The suction cup covers are suitable for seals with a diameter of 230-250 mm..The use of MTC cup covers protects sensitive surfaces from rubber marks.. The protection covers handling of mark free glass and coated glass. There is no rubber which 100% mark free, because rubber contains chemical components and diluents which are added during the fabrication of the rubber . They evaporate and leave marks on the glass surface and could cause a chemical reaction on coated glass. The geometry of the suction cup rubber lip is to be considered as well as the support, which coould friction damages during the glass transport. By the usage of the protection covers type MTC, rubber marks on the glass surface are prevented. This is only valid as long as the used protection covers are clean and in a good condition .
