Dulux Fungicidal Wash, 19260, 5L

Application Description

SURFACE PREPARATION: Remove any mould, algae, lichen, moss by scraping and brushing.

Dulux Fungicidal Wash will only be effective on surface growths. Where old growths have been trapped between coats during previous re-decoration, all existing coatings will need to be removed in order to treat the surface effectively.

SYSTEM INFORMATION : Mix thoroughly by shaking the container. Apply the solution by brush only to all affected areas. Leave for 24 hours and then thoroughly rinse and scrub

with clean water to remove residues and dead growth. Repeat the process if necessary. On badly affected areas or where lichen is present the use of high-pressure water hosing may be necessary to remove all organic growth completely. Do not use Hypochlorite Wash before or after Dulux Fungicidal Wash as it oxidizes the active ingredient and makes it ineffective. If Hypochlorite Wash

has been used, the surface must be thoroughly washed down with clean water before using Dulux Fungicidal Wash. Do not apply in wet weather.

Treatments such as sanding, burning off etc of paint films may generate hazardous dust and/or fumes.

Wet sanding/ flatting should be used wherever possible.

Work in well ventilated areas.

Use suitable personal protection equipment.

Do not breathe vapour/ spray.

Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product.

Use only in well-ventilated areas.

Remove as much paints as possible from brushes and rollers before cleaning.

Keep away from heat/sparks/open flame.- No smoking.

Store in a cool and shaded place.

IF ON SKIN (or hair)- Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with water or shower and soap or a proprietary skin cleanser. Do not use solvents or thinners.

Do not empty into water course.
